Methyl vinyl silicone rubber
This material is easy to install, exceptionally resistant to weather, ozone and aging, has good electric insulation characteristics, and a very good resistance to hot air.
Hardness: at 20 °C: 85° Shore A +/- 5
Temperature range: -60°C to +220°C
Pressure resistance: up to 160 bar
Resistance:
Water up to approx. +100°C, brake fluids based on glycols, diluted hydrochloric acids, flame resistant hydraulic fluids (HFD- and HFD-S), high molecular chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons, animal and vegetable oils and fats, ozone, aging, and weather, aliphatic motor and gear oils.
Not resistant to:
Silicone oils and silicone fats, fuels, water steam over +120°C, acids and alkalis, aromatic hydrocarbons, low molecular chlorinated hydrocarbons.
